Seattle, yes you CAN!!!

Hey everyone

I would just like to remind everyone about the great web site, Seattle CAN, that updates the city on how to live a more environmentally responsible lifestyle. There are articles on how you can receive your power from wind, you can get your vehicle's power from the grid, and what the city and local companies are doing to continually reduce waste.

If you haven't signed up yet, we still need you to help out Seattle Tilth. Click on the following link and sign up for A Fresh Squeeze! When you do, A Fresh Squeeze will let me know and you will join the growing list of people that have made me donate $0.25 to Seattle Tilth. You will not only get a great resource in A Fresh Squeeze's emails and enhance the development of Seattle's environmentalism and conservation organizations, you will help fund one of the Seattle area's great environmental educational resources in Seattle Tilth.

First check and more

Hey everyone

I am pleased to announce that I have sent the first check out to Seattle Tilth. Thank you to all who have signed up for A Fresh Squeeze. Be sure to tell others about the program as we now know that the program is working. The link is below.

Seattle Tilth Donation Program

While perusing through the sites in the margin, I ended up reading a ton of information from Green Tech Media. There are stories on funding alt energy companies, residential uses of alt energy and a lot more.

As always, check out the sites in the margin ====> to find out more about what is going on environmentally.

Happy Earth Week

Hey Seattle

Happy Earth week (a day is just too short) to everyone. The work that everyone has done has had a clear effect on society as a whole. Things to note is the recent increase in mpg to 31 by the federal government (not great, but a step forward), corporations like Macy's and Pepsi continuing to develop ways to produce products with more beneficial sources of energy, and the general public handling their lives a with the environment on their mind. But we should continue to do the work needed to get the balance back between our society and the environment.

Take a look at the sites to the right ===> as all these places are great resources for the topics of environmentalism and conservation. We have added the links of the EPA, Pioneer Organics, Goods For The Planet, and Seattle Climate Action Now! Check them out Seattle!

As always, please take the time to look at the blog's donation program and how you can help. Help has started to trickle in and is gaining steam! If your organization would like to find out how to receive donations, please email me at keanemd@gmail.com and include donation program into the subject line.
